Work in Progress

Pretty much says it all. Everything is a Work in Progress until it is done.

A little about DS

I have one child. He is 4 1/2 years olds. He is also developmental delayed. DS is about 9-12 months behind in most areas. Which is a huge step up from when he started therapies he was 18-18 months behind in most areas. Biggest trouble area is Speech. He was largely non-vocal until he turned 3. He did point and make sounds but that was about it. Very, very smart. DS has been going to a pre-school for Special Needs kids for a little over 2 years. Next year he will move in the pre-kindergarten class with the others. When he first started he was wearing AFOs (braces on his legs) but then he started Physical therapy and got to the point wear he didn't need them. But his PT told us the other day that she wanted to put him back in shoe inserts. It's been a year so that has been a little hard. They also noticed that his Fine Motor skills has dropped a bit. So now we will add that into the mix of therapies. That is hard also. Next week, we will start testing to make sure there are no "serious" problems before he starts kindergarten next school year.

Wish us luck that there is nothing wrong.
